4. User-Generated Content
4.1 User Submissions
MT Academy may allow users to post comments, feedback, or other user-generated content (‘UGC’) on its platform. By submitting UGC, users grant MT Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and modify such content for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes.
4.2 No Ownership Transfer
Submitting UGC does not transfer ownership of the original material to MT Academy, but users grant the Company the right to use the content as outlined in this Policy. Users must ensure that their submissions do not violate third-party intellectual property rights.
5. DMCA Compliance and Takedown Procedures
5.1 Notice of Infringement
MT Academy complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our Copyright Agent at [email protected] with the following details:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material on our platform that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located.
- Your contact information, including an email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the copyright or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
5.2 Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information, including an email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in London, UK, or the jurisdiction in which you are located.
6. Protection of User Data and Privacy
MT Academy respects user privacy and complies with applicable data protection regulations, including the UK GDPR. Users must not reproduce or share trading indicators, signals, or proprietary tools provided on the platform. The Company maintains strict data controls to prevent unauthorized use of its software and tools.
7. Non-Interference with Trading Accounts
MT Academy does not have access to or control over user portfolios or trading accounts with third-party brokers. Any advice or tools provided on the platform are purely educational and advisory. Users are solely responsible for managing their funds and portfolios.
8. Limitation of Liability
MT Academy is not liable for:
- Any financial losses resulting from the misuse or unauthorized distribution of its Content.
- Damages arising from the termination of access to users who breach this Policy.
- Any legal consequences for users who infringe third-party intellectual property rights using the platform.
